I'm a bit confused. As far as I remember in Imbacup 1 there were 12 invited Players and the 4 best of the selectional tourney. So this time its 13 invited and the best 3 from selectional?
I somehow dislike this evolution, since there are some really good players in the selectional as far as I could see.
Maybe the system of the World Snooker Championship (just an example, since its happening at the moment ) can be used? The main tourney there is limited to 32players. The Top 16 of the officiall Ladder are set and the best 16 of a qualification tourney will play as well. (But please don't copy the final, as its a best of 35 )
I don't want to say that you should do 1/2 set and 1/2 quali, but maybe something like 10 set and 6 quali?
Just some ideas for the Imba Cup 3 (maybe including the World Snooker Championship Price found? Totaly UK£ 1,112,500 should be get-able, don't you think?)
