he's a bit of a ranter but his points are also kinda hard to argue against.
Run FAF + FA on linux, you can automate the whole install and setup process :

ETA: That being said - gameplay is fine, I crash at min47 only while watching replays.

yeah. replays always crash for me as well. normal gameplay looks ok on D9VK but it is based on only one game. i need to do more testing... i have no idea what makes the difference. :/

I don't know enough about C++ to understand what a big deal this is, can you run it down for me? was C++ not open source?

The language standard is open but compilers and associated toolchains written in/for it are not necessarily so.

It's about time Microsoft did this; they're about 20 years late.

quick question, does anyone know how to start fafreplays with faf? with the convoluted terminal launch we currently have I doubt that's possible, especially with an already running instance.

The Linux Foundation has disinvited someone from one of their conferences because of their political opinion, citing that they want their conferences to be "safe spaces." If the Linux Foundation wants to be a part of today's "cancel culture", maybe it's time for the Linux community to cancel the Linux Foundation.
