Due to some issues (I think related to the current API security problem) I can’t access the mod client to change the ladderpool. Will probably just keep this current one running for another week while the server side issues are resolved.

I would like to see my map "Hummelzeit 5v5" version16 in the next ladderpool. Slots 3,4,7,8 would be closed. Slots 5,6 are for the players and the other slots are "closed but create extractors". It would be nice to get a feedback if this is posible.

The server can't "close but spawn extractors" when setting up a game.

I thought i've seen adaptive maps in the pool, but i could just make an 1v1 version out of it. Would it been posible then? It is like 3minutes of work to do so.

There are adaptive maps in the pool, they just don't spawn any additional mexes aside from when you enable slot 1 and 2. They also don't use anything other than the default options for the civ/reclaim/whatever settings the map provides.

The rating based pools are now possible. It will be updated at the earliest convenience of a server admin. Until then, the fallback of the 15 map pool posted yesterday will be used.

Is it technically feasible to use adaptive maps with adaptive settings other than default?

Would it be possible to have an adaptive map that would be in the ladder pool, but each time you played it, you might face different settings? That might provide additional variety for high-level players, e.g. if there were different amounts of reclaim or if certain expansions did/didn't exist sometimes (some of the spawn locations could be "closed" and others would be "closed-spawn mex").

Would it be feasible? Don’t see why not.

Is it something I think needs to be prioritized to be implemented? No. Maybe if there were more than a handful of interesting adaptive maps for 1v1.
