I'm not sure but it looks like those stats are broken because almost every map in the vault has more downloads then plays.

Most of the stats are somewhat suspect. There is still enough data to generalize who the modders were that dabbled vs the ones that were serious today, however.

It would be interesting to look at some of the raw data. Wonder if it is possible to get an export....

Even a simpleton should be able to deduce that maps with multiple players would tend to have more downloads than plays, especially as the number of player slots on a map increases.

Well, i am downloading maps and mods from the vault, but i don't play it online.
So some of the downloads/not playing are from me :D

8 ppl download a map, join a lobby and it launched = 1 play
dev is still correct, you can tell the difference between a meme version or new copy of a map then it's original by looking at the numbers, look at dual gap ep for example
