My last 10 games I have lost because my team disconnects!!!!

My rating is poop now because my teammates keep lagging out and disconnecting! How do I avoid this? The CPU/ping rating makes no sense in the lobby. Is it CPU? Is it Ping? Why not put both?

What you can see in the lobby is usually CPU bar. Which should how strong is the player's CPU+-. Ping is not shoting unless it is over 500ms. So if you see no second bar in the lobby, the ping of the player did not go over this value.

It's not possible in the lobby to find out IF the player will lag when the game starts or how stable player's connection is.

So to sum it up, just bad luck...

It's not, since build-in delay in the game for syncing order with other players.

it's really not. you should never ever care about ping in faf it's never going to be the cause of netlag unless it gets to the thousands. on the other hand netstats will give you iportant data on who's causing the net lag such as "data behind" unfortunately this can only be accessed once the game is running and 99% of people on stats think there's only the ping menu and don't know how to open netstats.

I'm confused, you removed the ping indicator only to replace it with 500+ ping warning? That's just stupid. Why not put a ping value like a normal person would expect?

Because it does not matter if you have 25, 100, 250 or (stable) 499ms ping as the client has a built in delay for syncing with other players. Having above 500ms means you lag behind one delay cycle in syncing your orders with the others.

well if you dont need a lesson on how the game works, then you know already that a ping that is fluctuating between 100 and 400 has absolutely no effect on the game in terms of lag. Every order has a 500ms delay before it is executed (even if you play alone) thus every ping below 500ms will not cause any slowdown.

It got removed because of australian players bashing. Many people looked at their 400 ping and kicked them for no reason. That's why it's showing only 500+ pings.
