Its working for how long exactly now?

So many people already have maps to upload but cant, and this really drives them off from mapping. I dont believe its very complicated to fix it. Maybe you guys (who run FAF) should pay more attention to what's important to people or essential features breaking down? Like this its only getting worse every update, for every improvement we're getting (more?) new bugs and broken things. Well, maybe you cant help it, but dont put it in a box either, else people will just lose interest and leave FAF

Well once the api thing is fixed can't it just be "switched back on" or should we make a new one?

After that you should be able to use a simple REST client or write a simple website for ease of use

I'm not sure if that path is supposed to be behind oauth (which would make it a bit more complicated), but I didn't see anything that would imply it so I assume not.

No, we're not. For every update the balance of broken to not broken is plummeting, the only problem is that the stuff which breaks anew and was working before is more noticed.

This has not been fixed because those capable of fixing it have had no time to. Such is the danger of a volunteer driven project. I'd love to fix it myself, but I simply don't know how.
