this, and while you're at it can probably remove some mex from x6 to make it a bit less stressful to play in 1v1. I can make a picture when someone is about to do it.

Sleipnir allows for units to pass the mountains in many places where it shouldn't be possible.

For 20x20, add Arrakis to the bunch

It' the original, large form of Desert Planet which is much more open and not as turtly... 8-)

Sleipnir has another issue. I tried dropping engineers in the lower right corner for those two mexes. The transport decided that there was no room and put the engies somewhere else instead.

It doesn't seem that the top left has this problem.

Can confirm that. Dropping on those lower mex is harder than it has any right to be.

So, I have noticed that the number of people hosting 1v1's in the global lobby rather than playing ladder has increased.
I'm presuming people don't like the map pool.
Maybe it needs a change to get people playing ladder again.

That's my doing by encouraging people to protest by hosting 1v1s so we can play legit, critical-thinking maps. It's one of the pillar reasons I enjoy the WWPC since it barely allows controversial maps.

Unless Saltrock Colony, whatever the green/forest version of Desert way-too-much-reclaim map, x6 (who the hell likes this map?), broken maps (Sleipnir), etc stop seeing the light of day in a ranked function I am going to play 0 ladder.

I know we want map diversity but that doesn't mean pick anything out of the barrel. I mean, Open Waters is obviously an OP for sera map but at least it's not horribly broken or have ridiculous gameplay mechanics like having as much reclaim as Vya-3 on a 5x5.

Sleipnir is not that bad. Saltrock colony is not made for ladder but for 2v2v2 or maybe phantom
Don't complain about that which you aren't willing to change.

slepnir is imbalanced right now, and saltrock is a bit unfun if you're stuck on uef or cyb xD
