How did I miss this post. Astrofoo is one of those guys that acts like he knows you even when he is 4000 miles away across the ocean. In real life I bet if you were new in a place of work he would be the guy who talks to you first, the guy who shows you where everything is and tells you all of the little tips/tricks that you need to make it to survive in the environment of that particular work place/industry. A very warm and friendly welcoming guy. Sure we have intellectually sparred, but those are happy memories on reflection, I like to remember the good times we have had together. I had this same feeling back in maybe 2008-9 when I was 18/19, I was an adult, I didn't want to bother with stupid computerised games anymore. Adding to that was the fact that I decided I would only come back when Half-Life 3/TA2 came out. It wasn't until late last year when my craptop broke that I built a monster desktop machine and was able to play all the titles that I hadn't been able to play for the past ten years. I realised gaming was part of me, now I am at peace with that. And something like SupCom is more than just a game which is why your desire has subsided. It is not just entertainment, it is an intellectual workout, you have other things to focus on right now, but the craving for commanding giant armies will come back someday. You can also have a laugh at some of my other threads on there that I started, you seem to know me quite well so I think they will fit in with your picture of me, except back then as a teenager (I haven't changed much at all since then).
