Solved it. World border, fresh install and it was enabled. Turned it off and zoom is smooth and fast.

Make sure the game is running on the dedicated graphic card (happened to me once that it used the intel graphic after reinstall)

Second thing, bad graphic driver?

I had to reinstall my PC, and after I got the game in I noticed the game gets herky zerky when zooming in and out. Hadn't had the issue before.

Anyone have an idea what I'd need to do to stop it? I've played with the graphics settings but it seems to not be affected by that.
