Well with original client i never had a connection loss to all players, with downlord his client in game already 2 times i lose conn to everyone while i am still in lobby and still can internet. This is weird. Not gone use the client anymore.

Seems all our issues were caused by downlords client. Now we both use official client and so far everything works fine. You may mark my topic as solved

No, surprisingly others was able to connect to her without issues. Here's her logs after she hosted a public game:

I thought the risk was the reverse, that if I post on something extremely similar the mods will just say I need to look in those threads! I looked in the FAQ, didn't find anything quite like this though. I will make a separate post.

please don't post in other peoples threads with "i have the same issue" unless you're sure that this is the case (and in this case it's not)

also please read the red text above and post logs
(we put the important stuff in the red text so people can read up where they can find logs so we don't have to repeat ourselves 10 times/day)
the logs have timestamps

Wont these logs contain like "all connection information since I installed the game weeks ago" or is there some way just to get the last 5-10 games?

they are inside the ForgedAllianceForever folder in C:\ProgramData\

I also have this problem when playing on the same wifi with 2 friends. How do I get the logs that the above user supplied so I can post them here?

EDIT: using Downlords client on Windows 10.

according to the client log both of you have a mapped port for faf so in theory there shouldn't be a problem with connecting

do other people also have issues when trying to connect to that particular host?

according to your client log the manual port mapping of port 6119 works properly
but your game.log file says that it hooks files from downlords client
if you upload a game file from a game that was played with the original client then make sure that you upload the correct file (should be game.uid.#GAMEID.log)

also logs of the other user you cannot connect to would be useful

are both of you in the same local network behind the same public ip address?
if yes - do both of you use a different port?

according to the log upnp is unable to forward port 6112 to your local ip address - maybe try a different port

When my girlfriend host a game I can't connect to her lobby. Game is forever "connecting". But me and she can join other public games without issues. I tried to use both official an downlord beta client with the same result
