i was wondering if it is possible to change the color of certain terrain features, i.e. strictly the colors that are used to render maps. The rationale for this is that i am borderline blind when it comes to low contrast combined with bright colors. that includes most prominently ice and snow maps (practically impossible for me), but also beaches and shallow water near beaches. it does not have to be pretty. since it is possible to tinker with unit shaders, i was hoping there would be a way to do it.
