Pretty much watched all the tutorials, and a lot of replay reviews. I especially loved the replay reviews because it gives information and advice in the context of an actual game, which goes hand in hand with what you learn in the tutorials.

Such a shame you don't have more views!

Great to see you're back. And thank you very much for these tutorials, was hoping someone would make ladder-map specific tutorials, espacially for the weirder maps. (Takes away some of the confusion this noob (me) has at the start of the game)

I took the time and skimmed through some of your replays. My rating is not that much higher then yours, so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt. Maybe you think too big, I think you could improve a lot by doing some homework: Your BOs and unit compositions look bad. Imrpoving those would greatly increase your effective fighting force. You would also have the engies to get mexes in the territories you claim so you can convert your map control into eco (requires more attention though). I would think about bigger issues after you mastered those.

My own rookie needs are a bit hard to quantify. Apart from the fact that I don't know how to air or eco effectively at all, I could use some tutoring on time and focus management.

My apm capability is not so much an issue. I have figured out that it isn't such a big deal. I can micro land fairly well and have an intuitive understanding of intel, outflanking, range, kiting, turret mechanics and so on, and I am not doing so badly.

What I struggle with is context switching. Specifically, it is the stepping back from focused micro that I get bogged down in. I already feel claustrophobic when zoomed in all the time, so that's good, but even when looking at the large scale picture I am still bogged down in what can be achieved right now instead of settling down and planning ahead with eco, tech and the late game phase. While I usually have my opponent playing a reactive game from the beginning, it all changes very rapidly once they start rolling out the big stuff and from thereon in I am the one reacting and not dictating.

Generally, if I don't win the early game, I am lost. And it is not because I don't understand the need for it - it is my inability to manage my own focus that prevents me from taking care of my economy and other strategic matters.

Usually when I look at the post-game graphs, even if I dominated the map for most of the game, my opponents tend to match or exceed my industrial capacity throughout. This indicates to me that not only are they able to soak up the early game pressure, but are able to context switch between reacting and planning, and if they do it better than I do, then they win. It is an area where I could stand to improve a lot.

He said they are not that good, but I saw many many Casts on even battles in which they were game deciding. For example:
-I saw Aeon players beating UEF players thanks to Tempests (equali good players)
-I saw Mega´s winning navy, because of there better speed when under water and good torpedos and torp defense (It´s very hard to denial!)
-I saw Atlantis as heavy anti air platform + good attention drawing...

However, it´s just my opinion so you don´t need to count on it.

Also in some cases it can replace destro if you provide it with proper frigate cover as it will offer nearly the same DPS against single targets while bigger one against big/clumped targets than cybran destro from 45-80 range while still having reasonably good AA weaponry and tmd.

Never the less it's still a reasonably good guide for all the ppl who didn't knew much about the naval warfare.
